First Impression: Arrival (2016), directed by Denis Villeneuve, is a remarkable film about how Sci-Fi can delve into the complexities of human emotion and intelligence. The opening scenes of the film attract the audience with a combination of intricate soundscapes, a compelling narrative, and stunning visuals.  Cinematography: The cinematography in the film is expertly done, using a variety of techniques to enhance the depth of the story. The visual storytelling is enhanced by the use of slow-motion, camera movements that move forward, and a range of shots, including medium-close-up, symmetrical, and upward shots. Sound: Arrival's sound design is a character in its own right. The way sound effects are used, ranging from subtle to overwhelmingly intense, makes it feel immersive and evocative. First Impression: From the start, I must say, I love the characters (also the new ones) in Kung Fu Panda 3. They retain the charm that captured our hearts in the initial movie. It feels like reuniting with old friends, and music and sound design is crucial in evoking that sentiment. It's great, capturing the essence of "Kung Fu Panda 1". The Positives The music is just as captivating as before, reflecting the same quality as we saw in "Kung Fu Panda 1". However, the story is where "Kung Fu Panda 3" truly stands out for me. It seems more refined than the previous KFP 2, incorporating emotional depth and unexpected elements into a visually impressive display. The storyline’s focus on Po’s family issues, rather than just the action, is both profound and emotionally charged, greatly enhanced by Hans Zimmer’s touching music. War Dogs (2016) is a crime comedy film directed by Todd Phillips and written by Stephen Chin, Todd Phillips, and Jason Smilovic. The film stars Jonah Hill (as Efraim Diveroli) and Miles Teller (as David Packouz) as two young men who become arms dealers during the Iraq War.  “War Dogs” is a cinematic masterpiece with crystal clear and crisp cinematography that brings scenes to life in a dynamic, yet not overly exaggerated way. There were various interesting shots, e.g., close-up shots, medium shots, shoulder level, knee level,  incorporated in this movie making it more interesting to watch. Moreover, slow-motion effects are particularly striking, combined with smooth transitions that showcase Todd Philips' talent. The color palette is very well-chosen, adding depth to the visual storytelling. Allegiant: Part 1 (2016) is a movie directed by Robert Schwentke. It's a science fiction action film based on a book by Veronica Roth. It is the third movie in The Divergent Series, coming after Divergent and Insurgent. It is based on Roth's trilogy.  The story is amazing. "Allegiant: Part 1" explores themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and finding oneself in a divided world. These ideas are included in the story, making viewers think about the moral challenges the characters face and the world they live in. This movie has a great score. It combines Tron: Legacy (2010) Daft Punk type cyberpunk synths with Hans Zimmer's orchestral signature sound. The combination of different sounds, including deep bass effects, makes it, in my opinion, the best soundtrack out of the three "Divergent" movies.
