Girl You Know It's True (2023) is a biopic film about Milli Vanilli by Simon Verhoeven. The storytelling style is robust, unfolding in a chronological sequence that keeps a captivating pace all over the film. The film's portrayal of the 1980s era is clearly well-crafted. The costumes and set design perfectly embody the era and greatly enhance the film's authenticity. The music creates a lively and nostalgic atmosphere with its funky, disco, and synthwave vibes, reminiscent of the 80s, enhancing the overall experience of the movie. Moreover, dancing performances and sequences by actors who performed as Milli Vanilli were immaculate and perfect. A memorable moment in the film is when a character transforms a real-life situation into the catchy song "Baby Don't Forget My Number." The cinematography is impressive in its visual impact. It has been already 4 months since Oppenheimer (2023) by Christopher Nolan released. It is so rare for me but I would not believe that I would go watch this movie more than 1 time. I watched it 4 times which is 12 hours in total. This film is 3 hours long, and I can honestly say that I have never regretted seeing it more than once.  First time I watched Oppenheimer (2023) was in the local cinema in 2D format. Second time was on a big IMAX 2D screen format in Riga. Third time in Forum Cinemas in ISENSE format. Fourth time in 2D format but in German. Of all these options, the IMAX 2D experience was the most attractive. The loud sound system and big visuals made me feel like I was really in the movie. This format made "Oppenheimer" a really immersive and memorable experience.  Oppenheimer (2023) is not only visually impressive, but also delves deep into the moral challenges of developing the atomic bomb. One and a half months ago, I had the opportunity to watch at that time an unreleased movie at Forum Cinemas in Riga, called DumbMoney directed by Craig Gillespie . The movie hasn't been released in Latvia or anywhere else yet, because it was a Secret Premiere in Forum Cinemas. The movie is centered around the GameStop stock controversy, a true story from the 2020-2021 period in the US.  The script is brilliantly crafted, weaving humor and wit seamlessly throughout the narrative. While the movie is peppered with an abundance of jokes, it does lean heavily on cuss words, which might not sit well with everyone. However, this edginess makes for the film's authentic portrayal of its Gen Z-centric theme. The choice of music in the movie evoked mixed feelings for me. On one hand, it seemed to fit well with the film's themes and scenes, enhancing the overall experience.
