The opening scenes of the film attract the audience with a combination of intricate soundscapes, a compelling narrative, and stunning visuals.  Cinematography: The cinematography in the film is expertly done, using a variety of techniques to enhance the depth of the story. The visual storytelling is enhanced by the use of slow-motion, camera movements that move forward, and a range of shots, including medium-close-up, symmetrical, and upward shots. Sound: Arrival's sound design is a character in its own right. The way sound effects are used, ranging from subtle to overwhelmingly intense, makes it feel immersive and evocative. Home Sweet Home (2023) is a mystery horror one-shot film directed and written by Thomas Sieben. It left a lasting, albeit unsettling, impression on me. The story is full of intrigue and suspense, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats without revealing any crucial plot details. The story revolves around Maria, a pregnant woman visiting her father-in-law's secluded country house, where she encounters a series of mysterious and disconcerting events. My experience watching this film, unfortunately, leaned more towards confusion and disappointment. This film was a sneak peak film in my local cinema and it left a negative emotional impact. During the film 6 people left the cinema hall from this movie. While the concept promised intrigue, the execution faltered. The storyline felt muddled and illogical, with a visual narrative that often bordered on tedious. This lack of clarity in storytelling led to moments where my attention waned, and the overall pace seemed to drag. However...

Saw X (2023) is the tenth movie in the Saw series. It is a sequel to Saw (2004) and a prequel to Saw II (2005). It was directed by Kevin Greutert and written by Peter Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg. Saw X (2023) marks my first full-length horror movie experience, particularly in a cinema setting. Cinematography: Cinematography was surprisingly good. It has a very unique style of camera movements while it follows the basics of camera shot techniques and mostly there were medium shots and closeup shots. I like the cinematic approach when there is a full shot and camera is going backwards slowly and other scenes forwards. I've never seen this before in the movies. The use of two distinct color palettes was notable, although I found the vibrant colors in the Mexico scene to be somewhat overdone. Divergent (2014) is a sci-fi action movie directed by Neil Burger which is based on a book called Divergent by Veronica Roth. The movie takes place in a future Chicago where people are split into factions based on their virtues. Beatrice (Tris) Prior, played by Shailene Woodley, finds out she is Divergent, which means she doesn't belong to just one faction. She is seen as a danger to the existing system, and she has to stay alive.  Divergent (2014) captivates with its stunning drone shots, showcasing a futuristic Chicago that, while heavily CGI-enhanced, felt unnecessary but still well-executed for its setting. Trise’s narration, voiced with compelling depth, adds a rich layer to the storytelling. From the very start, the movie hooks you with its humanistic portrayal of society, weaving a narrative that feels both big and personal.
